I loved this article, Umair, and I think you make some great points that I agree with. However, I do believe you can be both rich and happy. There are plenty of people that have accumulated great wealth and have done great things with their money to help others (Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Richard Branson, to name a few of our “mega rich”). Indeed, if you asked them, I’m sure they would tell you that they are happy. It’s a great generalization you make though that I would agree with about Americans. Keep it up!
